Shaft Construction
The shaft of the CCM E4.9 goalie stick is made of aspen core materials, and is finished with a fiberglass coating.

Paddle Construction
The paddle of the CCM Eflex 4.9 is a foam core internal construction, with the same fiberglass finish that the shaft has. The foam core construction keeps the weight of the stick down, and helps balance the stick weight.

Blade Construction/Stiffness
The CCM 4.9 blade is a full graphite blade which continues to add to the weight reduction from a traditional foam core stick that would normally have a wood blade.
