The CCM Super Tacks 9380 SR Goalie Skates are designed with the performance level goalie in mind. The 9380 goal skates feature a stiff MetaFrame boot construction built with CCM’s RocketFrame Composite, giving goalies a durable boot with increased structural stiffness. An asymmetrical collar allows goalies to get deep in their stance while a thermoformable core allows goalies to get a better fit than before. A TotalDri liner wicks moisture away while a Tritech flex tongue protects against lace bite, all while providing improved comfort. Ortholite insoles give goalies lightweight comfort while locking your feet into the skates. An XSG1 +2mm stainless steel runner gives the blades excellent edge life while sitting taller than previous generation CCM steel.
Skate Fit Profile
The CCM Super Tacks 9380 Goalie Skate features an anatomical, form fitting 360-degree fit around the forefoot heel and ankle. When molded, the fit of this skate becomes comfortably snug to your foot, which enhances energy transfer.
Boot Construction/Stiffness/Level of Play
The Tacks 9380 goal skate features a MetaFrame boot construction using CCM’s RocketFrame Composite giving goalies a durable boot with increased structural stiffness. The Tacks 9380 skate uses an asymmetrical boot collar allowing goalies to get deeper in their stance while giving quicker recovery pushes. The boot utilizes a stiff, lightweight thermoformable core giving goalies a better fit than before, generating the ultimate in skating performance. A Triple-Injected nylon outsole provides a lightweight, stiff design with better energy transfer while an Exhaust System works to wick moisture out of the boot keeping your feet dry during the game.
Liner/Internal Padding
The CCM 9380 goalie skate uses CCM’s premium soft, comfortable TotalDri liner which wicks moisture keeping your feet dry. Durazone Abrasion is implemented in high wear areas to protect against wear and rubbing.
Tongue
A Tritech flex tongue with molded lace bite protection provides the forward flex goalies need with added comfort and protection against lace bite.
Insoles
The Tacks 9380 goalie skate use CCM’s eco-friendly Ortholite footbed providing lightweight comfort and support.
Cowlings/Holders
The holder on the CCM 9380 Goal Skates is the CCM Speedblade XSG holder featuring a new quick release dial blade lock system allowing goalies easy switching of blades whether its before a game or in between periods.
Steel
A new CCM XSG1 +2mm stainless steel runner comes on the 9380 SR goalie skates. The extra 2mm gives a higher attack angle by sitting taller and longer edge life with more blade available.
Graphics
The Tacks 9380 skates feature a glossy exposed composite quarter with white CCM branding as well as yellow, grey, black and white accent stripes giving the skate a sharp look setting them apart from the rest.
