TRUE Catalyst 9X Pro Stock Senior Hockey Stick – Alex Edler

This custom TRUE Catalyst 9X stick is a pro return from Los Angeles Kings player Alex Edler. The construction follows that of a standard Catalyst 9X, with a couple of custom features.

The stick uses a square (A) geometry and a glossy grip. A geometry is the standard square geometry you would find on a 9X stock stick, with traditionally rounded corners and slightly concave walls. The blade is reminiscent of the old Easton E6 Drury curve; a once-popular heel curve, the Drury curve excels at high, powerful shots, particularly slapshots and one-timers.

This is a mid kick hockey stick, meaning it excels at puck control and powerful shots. Edler’s variation is 60 inches at flex 90 with a blue colouration. The stick is labelled “EDLER” on the name bar.

Sticks in the TRUE pro stock collection are custom-modelled after specific NHL player specs and use a different graphic pattern than the 9X. Pro stock sticks do not have a warranty, but they are made tougher and sturdier than stock sticks to accommodate pro-level playstyles.
